The Women in the Outdoors program in association with the National Wild Turkey Federation will host a Tactical (speed) shooting class for ladies on Sunday, August 31, 2008, 1 pm, at Bulls Eye Marksman Gun Club 6190 Parkway North Drive, Cumming, Georgia 30040 Sign up today to guarantee your spot! Class Size is limited for this advanced handgun training. Have you had a basic handgun class and now you want to further your training? Do you want to become proficient using a handgun in a controlled environment? This is the class for you. Learn to draw and rapid fire from a holster. Learn the basics to complete in pistol matches and gain experience using a handgun through this exciting, challenging WITO event. After you learn the basics of tactical shooting we will hold a mock competition for class participants complete with awards for our winners. The $65 fee includes a great session of tactical shooting instruction from NRA certified instructors, range time, and as a special gift all participants will receive a 1 year membership in the WITO program with a one year subscription to the WITO magazine. Exclusive WITO merchandise and silent auction items will be available for purchase during the event; all proceeds go to support the Women in the Outdoors program. Women in the Outdoors is part of the National Wild Turkey Federation, which is grassroots nonprofit organization supporting scientific wildlife management on public, private and corporate lands as well as wild turkey hunting as a traditional North American sport. Light refreshments will be served. Please bring your personal handgun/ammo for use during class. If you do not own a firearm you may rent one from the range for $10.
