Description: Dawsonville United Methodist Church - will be holding a special Ash Wednesday service, 7:00 pm, Feb. 17th, in the sanctuary of the church. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the season of preparation for the resurrection of Jesus. This year our Ash Wednesday service will include music and a brief message followed by the imposition of ashes. Everyone in the community is invited to join together in this service of remembrance and reflection. The church is located at the corners of Howard Ave. and W. 3rd Street in downtown Dawsonville.
