This is "Wild Bill from Dawsonville" county and things are growing fast! It all started with the rise of 400, the corridor that takes you straight from the hills of North, GA to downtown Atlanta in less than hour, with a location like this, no wonder the population has grown by 91.60% since 2000!
Great schools like Dawsonville High School has been awarded with a 9 out of 10 ranking from
greatschools.org. Great schools has also recognizes Robinson and Kilough Elemetry along with Riverview Middle School as top ranking Georgia Schools. Beautiful parks such as Rock Creek Sport Complex is a wonderful place to spend time after school with it's paved walking track, covered pavillions, not to mention a beautiful view of the pond.
Dawsonville and surrounding areas, like the small downs like Cumming before it has been picked up on the ideal suburb radar for it's beauty and easy access to perimeter . New Communities with great home prices accompanied with lovely new parks makes this town hard to beat. Parks like Amicalola State Park make for a great weekend get-a-way without a commute. For the lake lover, Lake Lanier offers recreation and great summertime fun. Let us not forget the Appalachian trail starts here, need I say more?
